Side effects of Clomid and HCG from real people please.

I'm 12dpo and I had an IUI this month, no clomid, with a HCG trigger shot. I have been sick with nausea and vertigo entire 2ww. I called my fertility doctor (twice) and said no way it was the HCG.

After asking some of you, sounds like many have the same side effects from HCG.

I tested BFN on 9dop (went to the urgent care to make sure I didn't have ear infection since fertility doctor said no way HCG) and 11 dpo. My bloodwork is on Monday but I'm still need a plan for next month since this month seems to be a bust.

Have any of you been sick from Clomid? if so, what were your side effects?

    My side effects were hot flashes and during the first day or two of being on it, I saw spots when I was in bright lights or coming inside from being out in the sun. Like it messed with my eye sight. I know for sure that is a side effect for some people. My biggest issue is how crazy irrational that it made me! I was a terrible person to be around those days, but I cant say that it actually made me feel sick. Good luck with everything:)

    HCG makes me very sick.  Nausea, diarrhea etc.  
    Me: 27, DH: 28 TTC since 11/09
    2/10 & 3/10 Clomid 50mg-BFN
    5/10-Lap Surgery for Stage 2 Endo
    3/11-IUI#1 with Follistim and Menopur-developed mild OHSS= BFN
    6/11-IUI#2 with Follistim -developed moderate OHSS= BFN!
    7/11-FSH-11, AMH 1.6
    9/11-ttc naturally with positive thoughts :)
    10/6/11-POSITIVE pregnancy test!!! 15dpo BETA-220
    6/14/2012- Riley Harper arrived!! We love our little girl

    I got very, very mild cramps from Clomid. That's it. Nothing from HCG. I hope you feel better soon!

    I had some mild hot flashes with the clomid, particularly when I did 100mg instead of 50mg.  I did notice blurry vision, but it resolved when I stopped taking the clomid. 

    When I used Ovidrel trigger with our IUI, I had some nausea for about a week, but nothing major.  I used Pregnyl for my IVF cycle, and I can't say of any particular SE from that, since I'm also on a bunch of other hormones.

    I should add in to that the vision effects did go away for me too. I have done the 50 mg of Clomid and for my IUI this month I did do 100mg. That is when I got the hot flashes when it was bumped up.

    Didn't have any side effects from Clomid or get sick from it. Sorry you are not feeling well.

    Cycle #23...Dx: MFI, low p4
    2 rounds of Clomid (50 mg) = BFNs...October SIS & 2nd HSG all clear
    Plan after saving: repeat s/a + Clomid + Novarel + IUI

    I didn't have any side effects from Clomid, but this HCG is killing me! I am so bloated, constipated, my boobs are killing me, and I'm getting headaches. I am only 6 day pIUI, so Im thinking it is the HCG giving me the symptoms...
