DD is overall a good eater.Since birth she has had a strong appetite and eats her fruits and veggies really well. But she is picky about breakfast foods. And she complains all morning about how hungry she is. I've tried waffles, eggs, cereal bars, cheerios, yogurt (which she WILL eat but ONLY if it comes from a pouch thing, and those are full of sugar so I don't let her have more than one per meal), and occasionally sausage. Often on weekends I'll make pancakes or french toast and she'll eat those, but I don't have time to make those during the week. Help! Pls share your easy breakfast ideas!
Re: Need breakfast ideas for LO
DS likes a variety of breakfast foods. Besides your list, he likes toast or english muffins with peanut butter. He really likes strawberry cream cheese on an english muffin or bagel. He also likes granola bars. I know they're not the healthiest choice, but they're easy when DS #2 gets fussy and DS #1 is really hungry.
DD#1 loves grilled cheese, so I now do a a grilled cheese and scrambled egg sandwich and put spinach and cheese in them.
I do smoothies and freeze them.
My twins love the vegetarian sausage links and patties- the texture is a little more palatable to them.
I do the mini waffles and pancakes, but rather than syrup I mash up bananas, milk, and throw some chocolate boost in.
And they are loving eggs scrambled with salsa.
THis morning I switched things up and served their eggs in cups with a fork and I think with the novelty I could have given them catfood and they'd have eaten it- they were so excited.
You could always freeze some of your weekend pancakes and reheat them during the week.
My son loves this oatmeal recipe:

(You can always make it the night before and reheat it in the morning).
You could also do a quiche recipe. We do the scrambled eggs, but sometimes I will add black beans, rice, and cheese to it along w/some salsa.
For special treats:
Cinnamon Swirl: https://www.breadworld.com/Recipe.aspx?id=617
or Pumpkin Streusel: https://www.breadworld.com/Recipe.aspx?id=693
(I haven't made either one of these in awhile but I do remember cutting back on the sugar and going easy on the icing).
Muffins were always a big hit for breakfast. (I say were b/c we are now gluten free and I haven't experimented w/any GF muffin recipes yet).
And lastly, you could always make banana bread, apple bread, etc. My son lovees to help me make these breads and then we eat them for breakfast.
Christmas PJ's!
