She really thinks that her 13 yr old and 11 yr old "get it" that she didn't really want them and still doesn't want to be a mom. And I disagree that I wouldn't still judge her if she were a man saying the same things. If you didn't want to be a mother you should not have agreed to have children, and if you did agree, that you should have committed to never, ever tell anyone, least of all your own children.
Its not that I am shocked that she didn't become enamored with motherhood. I just feel that the choice to have children means that you give them certain things, and that is one of them.
I do not believe in "this works for us" in a lot of cases, this one least of all.

I don't understand... are they with their father? Is she putting them in the hands of the state? Does she just treat them like crap?
