I really don't understand the point of "checking in" everywhere you go. A FB friend from HS is ridiculous, yesterday she checked in AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT! Seriously? I don't care that you are sitting at a traffic light, or that you just got Starbucks for the 2nd time today, after going through a car wash! I don't mind every once and a while, but get the F over yourself! lol Vent over. :-)
Re: FB vent
I don't get why you would want to advertise that you're out of town and your house is empty. I don't even post ahead of time when I'm going to Syracuse to visit my family...even though most of the time DH is still home.
And here's a prime example of why. A year or so ago, a girl we went to high school showed up on the news because they were looking for her. She's a con artist and had stolen a truck and money from someone. Someone turned her in and I'm pretty sure she's currently in jail. A few weeks ago she showed up on facebook and is now friends with a ton of my school friends. So, people are friending a known con artist and then letter her know when the house is empty.
yep, I hate people who update on FB multiple times a day period. A check-in or status update once or even a couple times a day is fine, but people who update 4, 5+ times a day is just annoying. I have blocked sooo many people from my news feed because I was sick of hearing every single thing they did alllll day long!
Even worse are the people who just over share details.... I had one friend who was constantly bashing her ex-husband and boyfriend all day long. It was so annoying.
DH's cousin does this! She calls her ex-husband a deadbeat, DB, and many other colorful words, and the worst part is she is fb friends with her own kids so they see this stuff about their father.
uhm way to break the law...she was texting while driving...probably holding up traffic behind her...
Wait...does stopped at a traffic light count as driving?? :P
