If you chopped you hair due to pp hairloss

Are you glad you did? Im so nervous to get my hair cut short, Its been long my whole life, but I have seriously lost half of it, and its still going strong. Its all straggly and gross looking now. And if I put it up in a ponytail, you can see my scalp. ughh. Anyone with me? And did getting it cut help the situation?

    I've never heard of pp hairloss that bad, personally. Are you sure there isn't an underlying issue?

    Yup I did it and am glad. Im a short hair girl at heart, but I grow it out about every two years, just because. It was past my shoulders during pregnancy and now it is an angled bob, which I have had before, about 6 inches off the back. I too was shedding, bit my hair is still pretty thick. It was more or less annoying. You can dot it, it will always grow back!

    I agree with PP, PP hair loss that bad makes me think you need to get your thyroid checked. To answer your question I cut ten inches off my hair because of hair loss and because I'm so busy with my two that my hair was in a bun or pony tail every single day and I got sick of it. Now it's so much cooler, easier to fix, and the hair loss is much less noticeable.

    I'm so glad I did it. I chopped it to my shoulders and I feel much better. It was starting to look strange because I had clumps coming in while there were clumps falling out. Now it's short and layered so it looks kind of like I did it on purpose.

    Yep! I just did yesterday! I had really bad hair loss as well. You couldn't see my scalp or anything, it was mostly all along my hair line.

    I have had pretty long hair for years now, but I love my new cut. Its to my shoulders and shorter in the back. It feels so much healthier now.

    I had PPhairloss that bad too. I cut 13 inches and really liked it at the time. After more hair fell out, it changed from a cute inverted bob to an ugly mushroom, but my hair is pretty thick. My lost hair is growing back at an incredible rate now so I have big tufts that stick straight out over my temples and ears. I think a short cut requires more maintenance than I want, but it was cute for a while and helped me feel less frumpy. Plus I donated the hair, so I'm glad I did it.

    Ugghhh me too!! DRIVES ME CRAZY! When its humid they are out of control.

    I just got 6 inches cut off mine Monday. It's in a shoulder length layered bob. I like it. I've not really been a fan of short hair but since losing so much after having Isla, doing a round on hcg diet and the hair kept shedding. I'm taking biotin and b-12 to promote new hair growth and I feel better about my hair with a new cut.

    I cut mine for more practical reasons - they pull it, it gets in my way and it takes a lot less time to do anything with it now.
