Still looking for Manassas Daycare

in D.C. Area Babies

Baby is due within the week and we're hoping to have some day care options. We'll need to get in probably the end of November. My husband works retail so really need a place that is flexible and of course cost is a concern!!

Please let me know any you would recommend in the area.

    We live near the Walmart on Liberia so something close would be awesome but willing to go out farther for a good day care!! And I travel North on 28 in order to get to work.

    Are you looking for a center or in-home?  Most centers have set hours, so not sure what kind of schedule you and your husband work on.  But our center has a location out your way.  If you want some details, send me a PM.

    My schedule is more typical living the house about 6:45 am and getting home around 5:00pm. My husband has set hours T and Th starting at 6am and can be done as early as 11:30am or today it's almost 2pm and he's not home yet. Just depends on if they ask him to stay late. He also occasionally gets other hours too and he never knows when that will be until he gets his schedule for the week.

    It sounds like the centers' hours would probably fit into your schedule.   Esp. if you do drop off and your DH can do pick up.  We do the reverse (DH drops DS off, I do pick up).

    I don't know if you are willing to go to Centreville, but Happy Faces Daycare is right at the intersection of 28/29 and they are absolutely amazing, wonderful people. We were with them for 2 years and sadly had to leave in May, as I went on maternity leave with #2 and my job location changed. I can't recommend them highly enough, they were incredible!

    It does look like a great place but it appears they will only do part time after 18 months according to the website but thanks for the suggestion!!

    You might want to check with them just to make sure - I know when we left in May they had a lot of infant openings, so they might be willing to work with you.
