Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor - how long...

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and we have been using the CBEFM. I was just wondering -

1. if any of you used this monitor and

2. how long it took you to get pregnant

It take two cycles for it to "learn" about you. I used it for 3 or 4 cycles but part of that time DH and I had to TTA.

Hi! I'm not sure what the fertility monitor involves. It's the watch, right? I used the clearblue easy digital ovulation predictor kit and they worked for me! I went through 1 1/2 boxes (20 sticks in each.. Cheapest on amazon-- I think less than $20)... I started using it 3-4 months before we started TTC just to assure myself everything was working the way it should and to see what days I tended to ovulate. Once we started TTC it worked first try and now I'm due next April! We BD'd every day for a week before and 3 days after I got the smiley face. One thing about the digital predictor I found was, that even when it was registering a smiley face, when I ejected the stick and looked at it, the test line was always fainter than the control line. I always read that to be truly positive the test line was supposed to be darker or at least as dark as the control line...so of course I was driving myself crazy that this would mean I would have trouble conceiving haha. But obviously it worked! So if you go with these, stick with the directions and just look for the smiley face or blank face and save yourself the worry. Good luck!!!

I used it for two months. I actually got pregnant the following month when I did not use it- I had gone up to visit my family and forgotten to bring it, so it was too late that cycle to start by the time I got home.

We used it (spent left over HSA funds on it last year) and got pregnant the first cycle using it. I was planning to start charting the next month and compare the two but obviously never got the chance. But hey - worthwhile for the heartache it's saved!

I used the fertility monitor. It took me 5 months to get pregnant. Some months we were just too tired to baby dance on all the high and peak days. I think 5 months was relatively quick.
