Have any of you ladies delivered at Dublin or know anyone who has? I am leaning toward there and i would like to know how everyone likes it or if they absolutely hated it.....

I delivered there, and it was incredible. The accomodations & food felt like I was at the Four Seasons, and the nurses were really helpful - totally willing to spend as much time & answer as many questions as I needed.
Yes thats the one haha! Do you know if they allow little ones to be in the room with you? We also have a four year old who would almost have to be with us unless family came up from AL immediately.

LOVED Dublin for delivering my kiddo. It really is like a resort. But, that said, I had a normal pregnancy and delivery. And I've only heard reviews from women in similar situations. I don't know anything about how it would be should - God forbid - any complications arise.
I don't know if older siblings are allowed in now. When I delivered, it was the height of swine flu/H1N1 hysteria, and at that time they weren't.
Thank you so much! I talked with them just a little while ago and they said they do not allow children in the birthing room i have however spoke to a friend up there and she is willing to keep my little one until the grandparents get there from Alabama! I guess I would rather delivery somewhere nice and comfortable with plenty of room rather than somewhere cramped for space as the other places i have toured are. I havent done an onsite tour yet just saw the pictures online for there and it seems to be very nice and have lots of space... i think this will be the place for me and our daughter can visit once her brother arrives

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Mollie Ezzie. She is with Columbus OBGYN. She is super sweet, easy to talk to and has younger kids so she was in your shoes not all that long ago. She has an office at Dublin, but she's only there on Thursdays. She also has an office at Mt. Carmel and in Grove City. The Grove City office is really nice. The Mt. Carmel one is a bit old and run down.
I've seen a couple other doctors in that practice too and felt really comfortable with them also.
I delivered there back in May. The place does look like a resort, but I didn't feel like I was at one. Labor and delivery went great all the staff was awesome. the thing was during the recovery. The staff always seemed in a hurry, never a smile, I didn't get any toiletries or anything, i had to ask for everything every time. All that said, the delivery went fine which is what's important. I think the experience will always be different for every one.
I have a friend who delivered there an she loved it her exact words were she felt like she was at a spa lol before she started labor anyway she was induced. I live in Delaware an im being seen at Grady memorial but im having my son at Dublin i dont think im making a bad choice
We are delivering there also, Dr Charles is our Dr she is awesome so very nice and upbeat. We had a MC last spring and I went to the ER at Dublin Methodist and i felt like i was the only patient they had, everyone was very nice very attentive the rooms were big enough to have our family in there with us. From then on we decided that was the hospital for us.

My friend delivered there and absolutely loved it. She loved the staff and her room and the food too! However she did have to have a C-sec and her epidural only took on half of her body so she felt 1/2 of everything they did! (I heard that no matter where you go you don't want to get the epidural in the middle of the night because the anesthesiologist can be sleepy too!) And she ended up with an infected incision site too. I'm not sure if that could be blamed on the hospital or not. At that point it was brand new so hopefully they have worked the kinks out by now! My husband coaches high school football and he said that the trainer told him that no trainer in this area will send any type of trauma/emergency to Dublin. I wanted to deliver there until I heard that! I'm not trying to scare you but I just wanted to add the info that I have about it!
Re: DUBLIN HOSPITAL....
I assume you're talking about Dublin Methodist?
