I really liked our old weekly Monday Progress Survey posts when we were all anxiously awaiting the arrival of our LOs. Mom's health/mood? pretty good. tired and still not feeling 100% in the nether region though
Biggest challenge these days? getting DD to give me time to eat
Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? DD took her first trip to the library in her Moby wrap and slept the whole time
Can't-live-without baby item? Boppy for bfing and RNP for sleeping

What are you looking forward to this week? having to do absolutely nothing

How old is baby? 6 weeks old today
How big is baby? Just over 9lbs by my home scale
Mom's health/mood? Tired but good. I finally am feeling less pain from my CS.
Biggest challenge these days? Chasing a 3yr old and a 19mth old while taking care of a newborn has been rough, but we are finally getting used to it. And Sarah has reflux, so we are trying to find a med that works for her.
Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? Watching her smile while she sleeps.
Can't-live-without baby item? Swing right now. She has to be elevated while she sleeps so this is a god send. Also my sling. I can wear her while I wrangle the other two.
Most useless (so far) baby item you have? baby bath tub. We used it with my other two, but this time my DH just hands her to me while I am in the shower. I soap her down and give her back. Easier and less clean up afterwards. That is important with two other kids.
What are you looking forward to this week? Seeing if her meds work and her resting without pain.
FYI this is a great post. We do need to do this every monday.

how big: 1 month appt--9#15oz and i can't remember length 21 and 3/4 i think
mom's health/mood: mood is good! everything is really clicking
health is good too, though af did visit already (even with ebfing!)
recent challenge: hmmm crib transitioning after the middle of night feeding? lol she's been great recently *knock on wood*
recent milestone/ aw moment: "talking" more and we finally got a picture of her smiling. and i think she's getting close to a laugh soon!
can't live without item: halo swaddle sleep sack!
most useless: changing pad cover lol she poos or pees on it as soon as i put it back on!
looking forward to this week: thursday morning when daddy is off and lets me nap in the am after she eats breakfast!

Baby's Name? Lucy Mae
How old is baby? She will be 8 weeks tomorrow!
How big is baby? I'm thinking 9 lbs or so. She was 8/2 at her 1 month visit.
Mom's health/mood? Physically I feel pretty great. I'm 2 lbs below starting weight but still need to lose another 40 to be at my happy place. I'm much squishier now too. My mood truly depends on the day (or hour) but most of the time I'm truly enamored with life.
Biggest challenge these days? Convincing my parents that just because LO cries for a bit in the evenings doesn't mean she: needs rice cereal in a bottle, is allergic to milk, I'm eating all the wrong things, she has colic, she needs formula to stay fuller longer.
Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? Hmm...I'm very proud of how strong she is. She holds up her head very well and turns it side to side. I'm also in love her all of her smiles and half-laughs.
Can't-live-without baby item? White noise. Hands down.
Most useless (so far) baby item you have? I didn't get a lot of "stuff" so I really only have things that I'm actually using.
What are you looking forward to this week? Going grocery shopping tomorrow. I have all these big ideas of the meals I'm going to prepare this week. I've been dying to cook! Let's hope DH can help out to make it a reality.

How big is baby? Not sure, haven't weighed her since 1 week dr apt where she was an oz over birth weight - 7lb10oz then.
Mom's health/mood? Feel good! Stitches seem fine, I've lost all the baby weight and dr cleared me to start exercise again so I can work on the baby pooch. Getting used to choppy sleep, and only feel really emotional/frustrated when E goes on a long tear of crying some nights before bed. Get a little lonely/bored home all day.
Biggest challenge these days? The unpredictable eating/sleeping schedule - just when I think I've got her figured out, she changes it up on me! And she HATES bath time.
Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? Introduced a bottle of BM this week which she took without a problem.
Can't-live-without baby item? Swaddler pj's and paci.
Most useless (so far) baby item you have? The swing. She can maybe tolerate it for 10 minutes once a day. We keep trying though, she really likes to be rocked.
What are you looking forward to this week? Taking Weds night off to take my sister out to eat for her bday! It will be nice to have a few hours off from 24/7 baby, for the first time, while MH stays in and has his first real alone time with her.

What are you looking forward to this week? Going on a day trip to San Fransisco with my mom, cousin, and LO. Also, 6 week appt on Friday! Ready to have some sexy time w/ DH (well, try to anyways)!
What are you looking forward to this week? I've got my 6 week check up tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing how I'm doing. I'm so so not looking forward to being cleared for bedroom activities, though... I don't have the slightest interest, and I've enjoyed having an excuse.And here's a pic of my little man. Mom's health/mood? Pretty good. Getting 8+ hours of (interrupted) sleep a night...a shower everyday...and even putting makeup on daily. I think that means things are good!
Biggest challenge these days? Eating. I get so busy taking care of DS and keeping house clean that I forget to eat until I discover I am STARVING!
Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? He is getting really great about holding his head up...and I love it when he mimics the faces DH and I make at him.
Can't-live-without baby item? Swing and Pack n play. (we use the PNP as a changing table on our first floor. He sleeps in it sometimes, but prefers to sleep on us or in his Snugabunny swing.
Most useless (so far) baby item you have? Newborn clothes were pretty useless. DS was 8 lbs 12 oz at birth and 22 inches long.

What are you looking forward to this week? Taking and picking up DS1 from preschool. He started last year but DH worked nights and weekends while I taught and he got to do the school stuff with DS. I really feel like I missed out on a lot. I am home until January and I am loving being a temporary sahm.

Mom's health/mood? Good! Breastfeeding is going very well and I've lost 50/58lbs! Sad to be back at work also a tad sleepy.

What are you looking forward to this week? Some out of state friends are coming over tomorrow to meet her. One last summer trip to the beach might be in the cards for later this week too.

Mom's health/mood? Pretty good! I had a 2.5 hr nap this afternoon
Biggest challenge these days? I think he's starting his 6-week growth spurt

How old is baby? 14 weeks (3 months, 1 week, 2days). He'll be 6 weeks adjusted tomorrow.

Mom's health/mood? Meh. I'm okay. I wish I had a job...
Biggest challenge these days? Fatigue, back pain from carrying him around and leaning forward to pump.
Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? He smiles now, not just when he is falling asleep. He also started talking a lot more. He is experimenting with his voice and makes lots of new noises.
Can't-live-without baby item? Toss up: rock-n-play sleeper, A&A blankets, Snug-a-bunny swing, and his diapers (we love cloth!)

Recent Baby milestone or AW moment? He has been a happy baby all night, which hasn't happened since he was 2 weeks old. I am just starting a soy/dairy free diet (BF'ing) with one bottle of Alimentum in the evening, and we are already seeing a huge improvement!
Can't-live-without baby items? RnP, Swaddleme, Boppy/Brestfriend, and Gripewater.
Most useless (so far) baby item you have? The bouncy seat. DD LOVED it, but Brennan doesn't care for it. It just goes to show that every baby is different.
What are you looking forward to this week? Hopefully seeing continued improvement with his fussiness. It would be amazing to have a happy baby again.

Most useless (so far) baby item you have? Infant car seat - that thing is more of a hassle than it is helpful. I can't carry it and keep my other two safe so it stays in the car most of the time and I wear DD #3. This was not true with the first two kiddos.
What are you looking forward to this week? Nothing in particular, most days with my three little beauties are pretty good. I am a happy mama
