Changing clothes over for fall

We have a lot of hand-me-downs from my cousin's daughter in Florida. How many sleeveless and shortsleeve dresses and tops can I throw a long sleeve tee under before people start noticing? :p

Re: Changing clothes over for fall

  • i think that dresses and t shirts would be totally fine with a shirt underneath..tank tops and sleevelss tops not so much.

  • I think a long sleeved t under a dress could look cute, kind of like a jumper. As long as the print isn't super summery. I wouldn't do it w/ tanks and sleeveless tops, but you could do it w/ short sleeved t's... I think that looks cute.

I plan on getting Evan a few plain white and grey t's and thermal long sleeved tops to wear under some of his short sleeve t-shirts this fall. He's finally at that age where he isn't growing so fast and all of his summer clothes will fit him for quite some time (until he has a growth spurt!)

  • you could also throw a cardigan over lots of the tops!
  • We received a ridiculous amount of summery 3-6 month clothes when DD was born. It was Labor Day before she could even fit into them. I definitely stuck long sleeved onsies under or cardigans over anything that was blatantly summer stuff. (like the adorable seersucker outfits she never once wore.)
