My curiousity arose from a previous post, so tell me about your education/education plans.
Me- I have a bachelors in Behavioral Sciences and I am currently working on my second degree in nursing. Right now I'm leaning towards labor and delivery, but I would also love being a pysch nurse. (Hence the behav sci degree). Also, if I can somehow manage to work this out, I'd love to get a minor in english because I love to write. I've written four 'books'. And I say 'books' because they are not published in any way, just saved on my computer ![]()
Re: What kind of degree do you have/what are you going to school for?
I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education
I have a Master's in Education
I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.
Guess what I do for a living!
That's so neat that you write! I'm not at all creative.
I got my BA in English then worked for 6 years. I went back to school for an MA in Cinema Studies, and am now working on a PhD in Media Studies. Basically, I heart school.

I have a BS in Management (no pun intended, I always wait for someone to laugh when I say I have a BS degree
) with certs in Accounting and Technology & Operations Management. I work as a corporate auditor.
I have been looking to go back for my MBA or shift gears and go get my MS in Nutrition and get licensed as a RD.
CD3 & 7DPO B/W Normal except TSH - Low
Dx Autoimmune Thyroid Disease - 8/2011
Overachiever. Totally kidding! I think that is awesome. I have a teaching degree. I took some classes this summer to go back and get my BSN, but since DH got a new job that took him out of town AND we didn't know when he would get back, I had to kind of let go of that for now.
Eventually I would love to be an L&D nurse, or nurse educator. Love teaching, just don't love the school system.
All Welcome

<a href="http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk121/behapybride/?action=viewI have a BA in English (Creative Writing emphasis), BS in Env. Sciences (Oceanography track), and an MS in Earth Systems (with a thesis on communication of science to the general public).
I sometimes wish I were going for a PhD because so many of my friends have them and I feel a little left behind and "unsmart" (ridic, I know). But if I were really going to go back to school I'd want a DVM. I know a ton about livestock care, but I wish I had the DVM to be able to take care of other people's animals -- and order my own meds!
Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

What is National Boards? I don't know any teachers, hs or elementary, with that certification. In MA, you need a masters no matter what after 5 years of teaching.
