DD has to have an u/s of her kidneys and a urine reflex test tomrrow at the hospital; thankfully, they are not going to putting her under to do them, but I know it's going to be a crummy day for her.
She was in the ER for pneumonia and a bladder infection a week ago Sunday, and the infection was severe enough that they want to make sure everything looks okay with her kidneys and bladder. It was a horrible day (two tries to get the IV in, I wanted someone to just come shoot me in the head and get it over with.)
I know it's not major in the world of medical crap that people go through, but she's going to be scared and upset, and I hate that.
If you could send her some love and good thoughts, I would so appreciate it. She's so little

Lots of good vibes for DD, and for you! I hope everything turns out just fine and that the procedures are smooth. I can't imagine how you are feeling, I shudder just taking DS for shots:(
On a side note, my friend's LO had the same urine reflex test and had to have a cath. She did just fine.

Missed m/c at 17 weeks, partial molar pregnancy d&c 11/30/09
Scout, my DD #1 has/had reflux on her right kidney -- grade 3. She had all the tests and actually spent 2 years in a study to see if prophalatic (sp?) use of antibiotics prevent repeat UTIs in kids with reflux. She was 6 months when she had her first and only) UTI. Very scary.
The good news is she is fine now, no damage at all, and they have assured me she has outgrown it. If you have any questions let me know!!!
And prayers coming of course

50 mg Clomid - BFP!! 8/3/12, EDD: 4/14/13 Beta #1 at 11 DPO - 24. Spotting like crazy, OB thinks m/c #3 is imminent. Beta #2 at 21 DPO - 1,899!! u/s at 5 weeks 2 days showed a gestational sac measuring right on track! WOOHOO! PLEASE STICK, MY LITTLE MIRACLE!
