And sometimes it just annoys the hell out of me. It's even worse that when I answer honestly, the answer is never good enough. It's one of those days where I just want to put my head through the freaking wall.
I have days like that too. Frequently. I know he's doing it on purpose sometimes, too. Sometimes he has some very insightful questions, and then other times its:
They drive me nuts too, though the other day my littlest asked me, "Mommy, why did God make these hangy down parts?" while he pointed to his scrotum while pooping. That amused me.

LMAO! DS1 likes to ask lots of questions too, when I'm fed up I say "that's enough why'in!" And he giggles and usually stops. Another thing that works is to start asking HIM questions or answer his question with "well, what do you think?" or something like that.
Re: The boy will not quit asking questions
"But WHY are you going to put your head through a freaking wall, Mommy?"
"Mommy, what is a freaking wall?"
"Is it going to hurt?"
Has your day gone something like that?? Sorry!

"Mommy, what's the baby's name?"
Madelyn asks me a minimum of 5 times per day how old I am and who is in our family. She knows the answers, and just does it to push my buttons.
This is on top of the normal 5 year old questioning everything stuff that we go through.
Oh yes, this is Joey.
And I have found myself saying quite often lately, "Why don't you trust me?" or "Really honey. Mommy is not as dumb as you think she is!"
Because when I do answer their questions, they keep needling away at it. Um, I answered you. Truthfully. Now MOVE ON!
