I read the post...thanks for sharing it. I agree...totally a shame. It was such a great tool/resource for inspiration. I must say I agree...if you do not want your pictures re-posted on other sites, do not post them on a public forum. I understand the concept of getting "permission" via PM but again, if it is something "private" then perhaps don't post pics here and just do it on FB where your friends are only allowed to see.

Obviously you missed the great photo-stealing debacle on 9-12 a few months ago. Granted it was pictures of people's kids, but the problem is still the same where people just grab images.

For real. Regardless of where it was posted, pictures are property and it's wrong to just go "stealing" photos and posting them wherever you like without permission from the owner.
If you posted a picture of yourself on TB, would you be upset if someone re-posted that picture on an "Ugly People" website? I mean, you did post it on a public forum so it must be ok, right?

So if someone took the pictures of your kids that are posted in your siggy and put them on an "adorable kids" website, you'd be fine with that? You are putting those pics out for the world see and possibly steal.
And believe me, I understand that pictures of kids and pictures of rooms are totally different, I really do. But my issue is that several bumpies asked her to remove a handful of pictures and she refused. That's what irked me. And like I said on another post- I loved the BRB page, it was an amazing resource, but if she wants to have a blog like that she needs to follow the TOS of Weebly and get permission before posting other people's photos- it's as easy as that.
I see both sides. It really wouldn't bother me if my nursery pics showed up on the BRB but it is irksome and shady that she wouldn't remove them when asked. It'd be a bit of work to make sure that you get permission from everyone that posts nursery pics here so whatever, she didn't ask permission...she should at least take it down when asked to.
I totally agree w/the point above...it's one thing to post pics of kids but the rooms to help other moms w/inspiration I do not see a problem with. I don't get why she would refuse to take them down if the owners of those photos asked...now that is totally wrong of her.
I was looking for this the other day and could not find it. Bummer, I would love to see it back up. I do agree with PP who said she can see both sides of the issue. I wish the person who had the bio would have been willing to remove photos upon request.
