At my monthly appt on friday I got a lab order for my glucose test. I knew this was coming but didn't quite realize that it was that time already. I have it scheduled for 9/7. I hope I pass.
I had mine on Friday and it was no big deal. I'm 24 weeks along. I was in the office for a total of about 2.5 hours. I went in a little nauseous from the fasting. I'm not an easy needle stick so they were only able to draw when I arrived and they had to do finger pricks after one and two hours. My doctor did my regular 4 week exam while I was there. Since they did the finger pricks, I'm pretty sure I passed. After one hour I was up to 106, which is low for the test and then after 2 hours I was down to 89. I'll get the official results tomorrow, though. The glucola drink wasn't bad at all. I was able to drink it farily easily and it remedied my nausea. I read a whole book while in the office, so be sure to take something with you.
Good luck!!

I have the drink for mine - I'll drink it an hour before my 28 week on September 15th, and then show up for an ultrasound and blood draw (the ultrasounds is because of hypertension).
I had to do one at my 12 week appointment. Diabetes run in both of our families so I had to do one then and another at my 24 week appointment. My results were 64 and I believe my cutoff was 150. I was told its low but its not anywhere near diabetes level so i'll take it!
I had mine of Friday, it was OK, although the drink did make me feel sick, I drank it OK though, now I am just anxiously waiting for the results next week.. diabetes runs in my family so I am worried, but there's nothing to do but wait.
Diagnosed with Anti little c antibodies. DS1 7.11.11 - Anaemia and Jaundice. 10 days in the NICU, 1 exchange transfusion and 4 blood transfusions. DS2 29.8.13 - Anaemia 7 days in the NICU and 1 exchange transfusion. Both are now happy and healthy.
I'm hoping I pass the 1hour, but I know tons of women fail the 1hr and pass the 3hr without any problems, so I'm trying not to worry about it too much.
Is it weird that my Dr hasn't even mentioned this? I just went a couple of days ago for my monthly appointment and he didn't say anything.
My doc mentioned the glucose test at the A/S but not since then. But at my last appt he was the only doc working (there are 3 of them at the hospital I go to) and had women in labor so I think he had a lot of other stuff on his mind I'm probably going to call my doc office this week and ask them.
My doctor will give me my lab order at my 24 week appointment, which is September 6. I just have to get it done before my next appointment at the out-patient center at the hospital. I can go at my convenience, no appointment necessary.

My dr. just said to go to the lab anytime during the first week of September to have it done. I also have to get an antibody level done as I am Rh- and have a Rhogam shot scheduled for Sept 15 but I have already had one due to spotting in week 13.
My dr. office scheduled mine at my last appointment. Going on 9/12 for the 3 hour test and have to be at the hospital by 6:45, hoping that they are on schedule because I have an appointment at my dr. at 10:45. They will also be testing my TSH levels as they were a little low (I was told this normal in pregnancy) but since I have a family history they want to test it as well. Am I the only one that thinks making a pregnant woman fast for at least 10 hours is ridiculous?!?

Mine is schedule for my 26 week appt on Sept 9th. I actually need to call my drs office to see if I can go in an hr before my appt and do the test because DD2 has preschool in the afternoon and I don't want her to be late.
My was last week - at my 24 week appointment. I passed which was a bit of a surprise. But my tests did reveal that I have an iron deficiency so now I have to take an iron supplement.
I recieved my lab order last week from my OB and she said go in and take it before my next visit. So sometime in the next few weeks I just drop by the hospital drink that crap and you know the rest lol!

No it's not odd, seeing from your timeline you are only 22 weeks - they usually don't do it till about 27-30 weeks.
I have mine schedule for 9/2 and am praying that I pass!!
