Pregnant after IF

Crampy :-/ (more of a vent than anything)

I am so incredibly crampy today -- I havent cramped like this since right after my first beta when I lost the 2nd embryo.  I broke out the doppler and everything sounds ok, but uhh it doesnt help that much.

Im sitting in the recliner with a big glass of water and my feet up hoping it goes away... :(

  • So sorry! I hope it goes away soon. Sounds like you're doing all you can do. I've had a few moments of being crampy in the past few days as well. Guess it's still stuff growing? That's what I'm hoping anyways.

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And HOPE does not dissappoint.

I hope so too! I know DH and I were out a lot running around today and yesterday. I had a hair appt scheduled for tomorrow but I canceled it just because all I want to do is lay around hahaha. It was like 15 minutes of CONSTANT cramping.. its settling down a little now.

I broke out the doppler and that always seems to make me feel a little better.

  • I remember being crampy like that right around the same time frame.  I blamed a baby growth spurt.

  • Sounds like your doing all the right things... and I would have run straight to the doppler too!!  I really hope this passes for you soon hun!

  • I know this probably won't help much, but I'm a nurse in labor and delivery and we have people come in all the time with bad cramping. Cramping is totally normal, especially around this time of your pregnancy..hopefully that baby is just growing bigger. Sounds like you're doing everything you can right now! Hope u feel better soon!!

  • I had a crampy day (13w4d) today too:(  Drank water all day and lounged around.  Feeling better now.  I don't think I drank enough yesterday.  Even though I know it's normal it's hard not to worry.

  • Hopefully the water and relaxation will help with your cramps, and it is nothing more than over-exertion or growing pains.

  • yeah, right around that time i had some of my most intense cramping. just keep your feet up and pound water.

everything is stretching out to get ready for your LO's upcoming growth spurt!

  • i've just started getting some of those pains and they are really annoying.  I keep telling myself they are totally normal but I (like all of us) still worry.  I hope yours get better soon.  rest up lady.
