We are all going tomorrow and we are looking forward to it.
If you've already been this year - can you help me out with some questions?
* Can you bring in any outside food/drink/snacks for DC?
* How early do you really need to get there? The site says 90 minutes, but do we need to get there earlier b/c of crowds, or will 90 minutes suffice?
* How long is the event - and is there an intermission?
* Parking rates?
Thanks so much!
Re: circus questions
I know we brought snacks for DD in the diaper bag (she was ~18 months though).
It was pretty long..like 45 mins, 20 min intermission, then 30 minutes.
Last year it was $10 to park in the state garages.
The Blog
We went on Wednesday. The kids loved it so much fun! We parked at a lot right next to the Erwin Center and it was $10.00 but very close so well worth it. We didn't try to bring snacks so not sure about that but they were checking bags but I didn't notice them throwing out anything from others. The preshow inside opens an hour before the show my kids are 3 & 6 and they loved it we went 2 years ago and they liked it then too so I think it's worth it. 90 minutes before the show is when you can go see the animals outside it only takes about 5 min to walk through there is not alot to see and it is very hot so that might not be worth it. Have fun!
