update to 32wk growth u/s...

All went well! The choroid plexus cyst is gone and the amniotic level is good. However LO is measuring on the small side 3lbs 9oz and in the 10-14th %. So they want me back for another u/s in 3wks. Other than that baby took lots of practice breaths and even has hair!! It was a good appointment for once and it was so nice seeing LO again. LO is also head down and laying on my left side and it's legs shoot across to my right side, hence all the kicking and moving on my right side.

From what i gather they measure pockets of fluid around the baby and somehow get an estimate by babies measurements and the pockets of fluid they measured.
I'm so glad to hear that the u/s went well. Now, breathe a sigh of relief, and enjoy the remainder of this pregnancy! The rest is going to fly by...as you already know!
Excellent news! I had my 32 week u/s this week as well. Though my previa is still there, the doc is confident that it'll be considered a "low lying" placenta by the time the baby is ready & I may be able to try to deliver vaginally.
I got to see hair & practice breaths too! So cool!

that's great news. I had posted on Monday on the 3rd trimester board about my growth u/s baby was measuring small he now is weighing 3 lbs and 6oz. They checked everything this morning at the specialist office my Dr sent me for a 2nd opinion and everything looks okay and normal, he's just small.
yes they did mention that the baby is running out of room now so it's harder to get the most accurate measurements. The u/s tech and the MFM doc took measurements of LO's belly (which is where they said they get most of babies weight from). and the doc's measurements came out alittle higher which put LO in the 14th %. so hopefully next u/s will show a much plumper lo.
