Name Worries

So DH and I had decided that we were going to wait until we met our Little Man before to choose a name. We came up with a list of 3 names that we liked. But now as we get close I am 2nd guessing all the names and just not sure if I should go back to the drawing board or have faith that one of these names will just fit perfectly for our LO.

Our Names are

Logan Michael (which DH and his brothers already joke about calling Log-On : they aren't being ugly, but I hate that idea for a NickName)

Landon Michael (which I'm bummed is getting so trendy- bc I've loved this name for years)

Owen Dates (Dates is a family name, could possibly go with Michael instead if we went with this name)

    Feeling slightly envious since at least you guys have a few choices waiting in the wings.  I am stumped on any name at this point and I am almost 38 wks.  My boyfriend is no help with only two offerings both which don't appeal to me.  One is super trendy right now Isabelle and one is to old fashioned Cecile plus it means blind and there are a few people in my family who are visually impaired so no.  Good luck to you both in your decision with a name.  All those choices are nice.

    I think it's probably natural to second guess yourself - you've got a lot going on and this is a fairly big decision.  However, I think that you've got yourself three names, so I'm sure that one of them is going to be fine.  All babies "look" like little old men to me personally, so I don't really think a certain name is going to fit, BUT I do think maybe you'll have a really good feeling about the name when you meet your son.

    I think you might just need more time to get used to them. If you look through books for more names, you'll probably end up drawn back to your current choices, anyways. When the time comes, I'm sure you'll find that one of your choices is the perfect name for your LO. :)

    This, but i'm a week OVERDUE!! lol. Maybe LO is waiting until we pick out a name! So far, we've got nothing. I hate every name, even the ones I used to like. IDK if being Team Green is helping or hurting the naming situation... GL to you
