I have been wanting to post on this but I just haven't had the time. BTW I totally had the three servings of veggies and fruits the other day. I made awesome butternut squash curry for dinner.
1.We went for 2 walks w DD and took her to the pool for a swim.
2.Had a really healthy veggie filled lunch
3.I am going strong on walking everyday w DD. I think I am going to do just fine.
Umm lemme get right on that challenge.
1. What did you do yesterday to be active/exercise? - I burned 380 calories on the elliptical for 20 minutes, after I put my kids to bed, and I went grocery shopping with them which totally counts as a workout!
2. What did you eat yesterday to be healthy? - Not much, I had coffee, a lean cuisine market creations bag, banana, I had a scoop of ice cream, and then I had some babybel cheese before bed.
3. Since we're in the middle of the week, what is deterring you from meeting your goals this week? How will you overcome that? - My thyroid, got my bloodwork done yesterday and some thyroid supplements so I'm hoping it will help
Today's Challenge- 10 push-ups, squats, and sit-ups. Go for it now! Get it out of the way! - With the 30 Day Shred I got 36 push-ups 52 Squats, and about 100 sit-ups/crunches.
Before I respond, I want to add that I have lost 18lbs in 9 weeks on the weight watchers points plus program. I am very excited and only have 2lbs to go to reach my goal. Now it's time to workout more and tone up.
1. What did you do yesterday to be active/exercise? I played the MJ Experience on the Wii with my 3 year old. She is actually really good.
2. What did you eat yesterday to be healthy? I ate cooked oatmeal for breakfast, grapes and carrots as snacks, salad for lunch, and shrimp stir fry with brown rice for dinner.
3. Since we're in the middle of the week, what is deterring you from meeting your goals this week? How will you overcome that? My goal this week is to stay active so that I do not gain too much weight at the cookouts over the weekend.
1. Yesterday I did 30DS, level 2 again and it's getting easier! I also went to Walmart and parked as far out as I could and walked around the store a few times just to get a little extra walking in. I figure every little bit helps!
2. I ate really healthy all day yesterday and even with the cookies I made DH, I stayed within my calorie goal! I made spinach and feta turkey burgers with sweet potato fries for dinner and it was delicious.
3. I went on a 50 minuet walk today and I felt so good after it that I think it's actually going to help me meet my goal this week. If I go right after Emalyn and I eat breakfast than it's still cool enough out that we arent dying from the heat.
I'll do the challenge right now even though I did my walk and 30DS.

1. I suck and didn't exercise yesterday. I did take the boys up to the office where I used to work, and I think carrying Simon around walking for an hour should count for something though.
2. We've done great with eating well. It's easier since we're doing BLWing I think. I've got tons of fruit and veggies around the house for Simon to gnaw on, so I'm also eating it myself. Off topic- he ate a banana at breakfast (like peel and take bites out of it) and a cutie orange at lunch!
3. I think DH coming home tonight is going to make it easier for me to slack, so I really need to stay focused. I'm going right now to ride my bike so it's done for the day!

1. What did you do yesterday to be active/exercise? Nothing. As I said yesterday, I was feeling sick. I feel better today, so no excuses. Gotta get moving again!
2. What did you eat yesterday to be healthy? Breakfast: English muffin with a veggie sausage patty - Snack - Nectarine - Lunch - Hamburger patty plain and a veggie steamer bag - Dinner - Salmon patty, corn on the cob, and cucumber salad - why was everything I ate yesterday in patty form? Weird!
3. Since we're in the middle of the week, what is deterring you from meeting your goals this week? How will you overcome that? I have been feeling like poop, but I feel better now.
