Help--where to find swim suit for 3 month old quickly?

I'm in the midwest so the swim gear is hard to find now---and we're going to a water park possibly on Friday---and he will need one of those non-disposable swim diapers. Anyone see them at retailers lately??

ETA: I'm having trouble finding little swimmers that fit him---he's about 15 pounds or so and the ones that say "small" seem too large, going up to like 26 pounds. Any ideas???

walmart carries swimmers - most stores do.

i also bought a full body swimsuit for DS at walmart and it's great SPF protection as well

My 3 month old fit in my DD #1s old 12 month old swimsuit. I'm hoping because it shrank and not that my 3 month old fit into a 12 month old size!

The Babies R Us near me still has some bathing suits on clearance.

You could also use a cloth diaper cover. We used one when we went swimming. I'm not sure how well it will hold in a poop, though - we haven't crossed that bridge yet.

"Everyone" carries the Little Swimmer diapers... grocery stores, Target, Wal-Mart, drug stores (Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens), etc. Take more than one, for obvious reasons.

For a suit... scour the clearance sections of any kid's clothing store you can find.

You're near Chicago. There's got to be stores you can check nearby... Babies R Us, Old Navy, Carter's, Gymboree, Children's Place, Crazy 8s, Baby Gap, Target, Wal-Mart, JC Penney, Sears, Macy's, I could go on and on.

You should have no problem finding a swimsuit...they will actually more than likely be on clearance. I found some at wal-mart and target. I will probably end up getting one this weekend since the swimsuit DD had is now too small for her. if anything, I bet no one will think twice if your LO is just in the disposable swim diapers.

we use a cloth swim diaper - holds in poo just fine

no swim diaper will hold pee so forget about that

you can get one on amazon prime for about $15 or a little less. we use the bummi swimmi. dd is 12 pounds and the small will fit for quite some time still.

The Pampers little swimmers size 1/small fit my guy fine. He is 16 lbs (I think the box goes up to 24 lbs). Slap a pair of shorts and a tshirt (for sun protection) on him an you are set.
