Here is a link to the invitation we are going to send out for DD's 2nd birthday. https://www.tinyprints.com/product/12778/birthday_party_invitations_circus_chic_tea_rose.html
Any ideas on how to decorate? I'm torn between going towards a pink/orange and/or yellow color pallet with elephants thrown in here and there or a circus type thing with those same colors.
What should I include in goodie bag? I am going to buy individual sized cotton candy, circus peanut candy, but that's all I got.
Re: 2 more ?s: birthday decor/bag of goodies
I would go with pink and orange- head over to PolkaDotMarket.com- they have the cutest pink and orange stuff. I would do a carnival theme- with pennant flags, big tissue poms hanging from the ceilings, striped pink and orange table cloths (like a circus tent) with lots of balloons- I would also get lots of paink and orange fabric and pick one room- like a main room where the party is going to be and take the fabric from each corner to the center and then have a large bustle in the middle- it makes the room feel more "tent like". I would also rent a cotton candy machine and a pop corn machine and have cotton candy and popcorn like at the circus. I would also do large circus peanuts in cute pink and orange paper cones (can be found on etsy).
You can do a candy buffet- with all different kinds of candy- Candywarehouse.com allows you to buy candy by color- so get lots of pink and orange. As for favors you can stick with your orginal idea- but just put them in cute pink and orange bags- tie them up wit some ribbon and attach a cute favor tag- something like "Thanks for helping us celebrate under the big top" or something circus related.
