WTF?! Where is it??? Somehow I've magically gained 30 pounds since my 8 week appointment. My OB didn't seem too upset about it...she wasn't even going to mention it, I brought it up to her!
I had to pick SS. I've only gained 1 pound so far, and there wasn't an option for that.
I will say however that at this point with DD I was up 10, and am currently the same total weight I was with DD at this point. I started this pregnancy 9 pounds heavier than when I got pregnant with DD.
I'm not really sure, but I'm thinking I've gained 20 or 25lbs. I swear I'm eating WAY better than I was before I got pregnant. I'm usually all over the breads, pastries, cakes and cookies. I had another weakness....gas station cappuccinos and ice coffees. All of that makes me ill to even think about at this point. Now for some reason all I want is greens and fruit. Tomatoes are the best EVER even though I get a wicked case of heartburn. The only thing I can think of that's making me gain is my milk consumption. I can't seem to get enough of it.
I did the same thing with my son though....I'm not surprised at all. I was a house by the time he was ready to come out.
I think I gained most of my weight in the first few weeks (mostly is my chest). I haven't gained but two pounds since then so I think the weight has redistributed itself to my bump area.
Edited because I am an English teacher and that's what we do.
23 pounds and fine with it except I do know that I can eat better and exercise more. I would like the gain to slow down a tad (I'm gaining 2-3 pounds a week right now), but overall I'm not super worried
I was sick for a while and I still have very little appetite. But I've finally gained about 5 of the 12 lbs I originally lost. At my Dr. appointment 2 weeks ago, he said everything looked on track with Baby Landry and I.
I didn't vote..I think you're missing a 1-9 option.
Sorry about that, ladies. I guess I assumed that fell under the category of not gaining anything!!! Haha. Or maybe I subconsciously didn't want to hear about girls only gaining 1-9 lbs. I apologize!
Got weighed today at my apt and I'm up 20 so far. At first I was a little stressed about it but really I eat healthy and really its all baby (and a little booty). So I'm not overly worried. My doc hasnt said anything about it and even if he did, nothing would probably change... So we'll see how everything goes!
Low 20s. I've gained in my boobs (up two sizes from my normal DD). I'm also still having a TON of swelling after I work. I lost 4 lbs since the last day I worked... ugh
I've gained 25 so far. My doc says it's ok since I was on the low end of normal to begin with, but man is it hard to mentally process it. I have to keep reminding myself that I am pregnant and supposed to gain weight.
SS - I've gained 7 or 8 lb. With DD all of my weight gain was in the second half of my pregnancy, and I didn't gain much overall (started out somewhat overweight), so that's normal for me.

I lost a lot of weight during the first trimester because I could hardly eat anything. My doctor wasn't concerned then, and isn't concerned now because I've gained all but a pound back. I had my appointment yesterday and she said that for now, I'm still -1 pound, but I will really start to gain weight now. Ugh, I try not to think about the number on the scale, but I can't imagine what I will weigh in December!
Now, my best friend (the girl who runs marathons, teaches school, and has two little girls) is the fittest person I know and she told me she gained almost 20 pounds in first tri and I cannot tell you WHERE that weight went. Her doctor wasn't concerned because she was eating healthy, exercising, and the baby looked great.
I hate to use the generic saying, but every pregnancy really is unique!
At my last appt. at 21 weeks, I was up 30. I've decided not to stress about it. This is not to say that I'm going to give up on eating healthily, but I'm not going to obsess about it.
I'm around 18 or 19 pounds at almost 23 weeks. Hopefully I can stick to 20 by 24 weeks. I try not to stress about the daily/weekly fluctuations due to water but it's hard when you see the scale go up 3 or 4 pounds overnight!
I've gained 13 so far. I was slow to put on weight at first. Then all of a sudden I gained 5 pounds in 3 weeks. The doctor hasn't said anything though.
Re: I've Gained 30 Pounds.
Breastfeeding and pregnant!

Yeah, I voted ss for this reason. I've gained 5.
agreed. i was +8lbs at my 23 week today.

I had gained 7 lbs at my last appointment. Seeing as my boobs have gone up two cup sizes, I'm thinking at least 2 lbs of that comes from them.
