The Big "O" while H is out of town!

This is just a rant.....

This will be mine and DH's first cycle trying for baby #2 and he is out of town on business until Monday!!  I have been charting for a few months to prep for this very moment and I should be ovulating on Sunday (BOOOO).  Here's to hoping I'm late!

    Ugh - this happened to me last month.  Turns out I ovulated the day he got home (albeit I still got a BFN last cycle :o( it worked out)

    It's funny because we are both sooo into getting pregnant this time around and I am trying to NOT let it stress me out.  For our first son we had both decided that we just weren't going to prevent pregnancy, and while we certainly wanted a baby, we were happy with letting it just happen when my body was ready.  No stress there and 6 months later I was pregnant.  No schedules, no charting, no stress.

    BUT, this time I feel like we are putting way to much pressure on ourselves to conceive and it is driving me up a wall.  We've been preparing for months (he's even on a regimine of vitamins, etc) because our son is already 4 and we don't want to have any larger an age difference between him and a new baby.  But ughhh, I need to just relax, lol.

    I completely feel your pain!  My DH and I decided to start trying in May and he has been out of town for the last four cycles during my FW.  I've been charting, taking vitamins etc. etc. and I am getting incredibly anxious!  I just want one cycle to know at least we tried!  According to FF, I'm supposed to O on Sunday, as well, and my DH is leaving for the airport really early that morning.  I'm hoping I O early and you O late! GL to you ladies!

    Yes, sucks is the only word to describe it, lol!  It's really almost comical at this point, I feel like someone is trying to tell me something.  At least we can say we are really, really prepared:)!  In the meantime, I'm contemplating opening up a travel points credit card so I can wrack up some travel points and start jetting away to where the DH is traveling on business!

    I'm in the same boat as you!

    H left for a business trip Sunday night and comes home tomorrow. At first I was hoping I'd O early on Monday but then nothing and then I was hoping it'd be late but nope, pretty sure I O'ed today. Awesome! 

    Let's hoping some post O sex works and if not, then on to the next cycle.
