Finally! Never thought this day would come but i am finally in L&D - hooked up to pitocin - with a fabulous nurse and fabulous midwife who explained to me the whole process. After 14 days, the girl decided she just didn't want to do this on her own so we're coming in after her. Everyone seems great and, so far, i'm still relaxed - granted, there has been zero for me to be stressed about - even the IV catheter was placed in so quickly and competently that i barely noticed it. I know things are about to get wild but i'll be able to finally see my little girl!!!!

Hope that 14 days overdue doesn't mean your DD is going to take her sweet time during labor, too! Good luck. I think you're using the same practice (and therefore hospital) that I am, so hopefully you'll feel up to posting a birth story in the coming weeks.
