preschool woes

I just got a call from the preschool that was #1 on my list of favorites. They, unexpectedly, have a spot for us for Warner to start in September. The only problem is that when I signed up we figured that I'd be working (more than an occasional freelance job) and now it's out of our price range--even the part-time option. DH and I are going to look at our budget again tonight, but I just really don't see how we can justify the cost. It's really quite pricey compared to some of the other places we are waiting to hear from.

  • I'm so sorry.  I am certain that Warner will thrive wherever you send him.  From what you say here, he seems like a very well adjusted and smart little boy.  As I told myself the last few weeks, you can always transfer Warner if things change.  Pre-school doesn't seem as competitive as infant care.
