I am pregnant.
And my initial betas were NORMAL.
In fact, they more than doubled.
And I FEEL really pregnant.
And after 5 clomid cycles, 4 injectible/IUI cycles, 3 fresh IVF's (one out of the country!) and 3 FETs....
something
finally
stuck.
I was going to wait until u/s to shoot my mouth off, but I'm so stinkin' high about this, I couldn't wait. (He's making me wait! The french nerve of that man!!! lol)
I have NEVER had normal initial betas. Hell, I've never walked INTO my 1st beta KNOWING that it was going to be strong. Until this round.
(friday 97, monday 320, p4 30, which lines up perfectly with the numbers I had in my head based on getting 2 lines THREE DAYS AFTER MY TRANSFER!)
We put back our last 3, one was stellar, two were decent. I'm guessing from the average numbers that not all 3 stuck, which I am relieved about. (not happy about loosing embryos, but trips would be hard....)
I was lunching with my bestie of 25+ years yesterday, and EVERYTHING good in her life has happened on the 13th of a month... her bday, met husband, got engaged, got married... so I had her around for luck when I got "the call." Nurse called (early!) and I asked her if I should order TEQUILA or PICKLES... she starts yelling "Pickles! Definately pickles!!!" and we're all crying!!
So 13th pregnacy is a charm for me. I hope. I've never wanted something so bad in my life. I'm not sure quite how I'll get thru the next 2 weeks, much less past NT scan, and thru the rest.... but damnit, I'm sure as chit gonna' keep swim.ming.
(ps - nuffin' on FB, laying low with family for quite a while)
Re: ? Are you sitting down ?

I am thankful every day for my miracle after infertility.
And thrilled to be pregnant again after FET!
Oh...wow!
A huge huge congratulations, T!
Now you'll have to keep us posted in the coming weeks if you will please, since I for one will be on pins and needles.
I've considered 13 to be a lucky number since I was a child, and Friday the 13th to be a lucky day, and I've wanted an office on the non-existent 13th floor, since to me it never made any sense to go into something assuming it was unlucky.
Now...run off and enjoy those pickles. (Love the nurse's excitement!) Another congratulations, Mommy of others!!!

I told the nurse I was coming back in 2 days for a repeat beta, and she TOLD ME NO! Says Dr, Sassy said next monday. (then I heard her duck, ha) I said WHAT????????????? Does he KNOW ME?? she laughed and said "those are great numbers, trust in them." shhhaaa, riiiight. lol. I dunno, we'll see. I've got a couple shoots this week to distract me, and let's face it, it is what it is. But can I just flash ahead to u/s please??????
Thanks for all the good wishes. They mean so much to me, and these bab(ies).
