Hi everyone.
It's been two weeks since the end of stims and my HCG shot. I just stopped with the progesterone cream this morning (BFN today).
This entire IVF experience is new to me and I feel a bit like I'm going crazy.
Is it normal two weeks after stims and after two weeks of progesterone to still have significant bloating? (Note: I didn't make it to ER so whatever side effect might come with that aren't a problem for me.) My stomach is in knots and I'm feeling very constipated all day long
Embarrassing.
I just don't know if this is normal, or whether I should be worried.
The other thing is that in the last month, our dog managed to pick up a protozoa and now I'm freaked that I picked it up. DH thinks I'm still messed up from the meds and should just relax.
I'm going to call one of the nurses in the morning. Just thought I'd see if anyone has some insight based on experience.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
Re: Is this normal two weeks after stimming?
I always bloat up with stims and the trigger shot. I feel like humpty dumpty's sister.
So yes, bloating is normal. I drink a bunch of smart water, and coconut water. My RE told me lots of liquids and just pee all the extra fluid out.
Good luck to you!
Sorry.. I just re read your post.. it's been 2 weeks since.. My bloating has always gone away in that time. So yes, give your nurse a call.

Since you are done with the cycle, I would take a laxative. I had constipation back in April from the drugs and a few laxatives over 2-3 days made all the difference in the world. Hope you feel better soon sweetie!
