xp on Melisende's birth story thingie

Pics later!Quick and dirty on the birth story:Went in for the induction at 8, had the cervidil put in at 10:30.  At 2AM, I was engrossed in a word game on the iPad and feeling minor cramps with zero pain.  At 3AM it really, really hurt, and I didn't think I could do it, especially if this was just from cervix ripening.  Welp, the nurse checked and I was at 8CM and contracting hard and frequently, so she called the doctor.  The doctor got there, and I was fully dilated and in LOADS of pain.  OMG.  She said I could push, so I did, and it was much harder than with Margaux!Little Melisende (I call her "Millie") was born at 4:29, 8 lbs, 5.7oz.  21.5 inches long.  13.5 head diameter.   I managed no epidural (not that there was time anyway) no pitocin and no tears!  I feel pretty good except for the breastfeeding uterine cramps, they can bite me.I'll post pix of her fuzzy little head when I get more time!  :)
