My Baby Nest vs. Moby

I have never posted on this board before, because I didn't think I would wear my baby all that much. But now that she is here, I realized that things might be easier for me (and more calming for LO) if I was to wear her rather than put her in a swing, bouncer, etc. I was looking online at the My Baby Nest and the Moby wraps. They look very similar as far as how you wear them, but look very different as far as putting them on and material. Does anyone have experience comparing the two? I would appreciate any suggestions.

Re: My Baby Nest vs. Moby

  • I'd never heard of My Baby Nest.  After spending just 5 seconds on their website, I'm already annoyed that they're recommending a back carry in something that looks very much like a stretchy wrap.

If you're open to considering other options, you can check out these pages:

If you want to choose between those two, I'd suggest the Moby.

  • A Baby Nest is like a K'tan--that brand is more popular right now. Your assesment it right that they look similar when on. A Moby is long, a BN is 2 shorter loops of gabric.I would Google some videos (also search for K'tan) and see which method appeals to you. Both are stretchy and so both will max out in terms of comfort around 15lbs. The both are "entry-level" carriers meaning that there are higher-quality and more supportive options, but these are mainstream enough and cheap enough that more people have heard of them.
