Montgomery County Fair gone wrong

This morning, we went to the montgomery county fair, thinking maybe, just maybe all the walking, crazy fried foods and overall experience might help this wee one decide to come join the rest of the world. We got there early, had a blast looking at all the animals, eating crappy food and trying to win silly carnival games. I really wanted to ride the ferris wheel before calling it a day when DH pointed out huge storm clouds. No sooner had he opened his mouth that a few drops started coming down - the drops turned into a huge downpour and predictably, we were in the middle of a drenching downpour and couldn't remember where we parked. I started laughing uncontrollably - when said car was finally found, i literally could wring water out of my clothes. 

Needless to say, baby is still snug as a bug in a rug in there - it would have made a great labor story ;-) Hope you ladies are staying dry and having a good weekend!!!

    We were also at the fair and got caught in the same downpour! We hid out under a plastic tarp for about 20 minutes. That was some crazy rain!

    Wines, you were a lot smarter than we were ;-) Trying to make a dash for it was not the most thought-out of plans! As for the baby, we're scheduled for an induction this tuesday - so, one way or another, she's coming out! (finally!!!)

    Well, it sounds like you were a good sport about it. At least you'll have some good stories for the baby of what you did to try and get him or her to come out.

    If you end up going in for the induction on Tuesday, I wish you all the best. Let us know how it goes.
