What week of pregnancy were your twins born?

I'm expecting twins in January. My due date is January 27 and my OB is setting the C-section for my 38th week. For all you experienced twin mommies, what week of pregnancy were your twins born?

My c/s was scheduled for 38 weeks, but the girls had other ideas and they arrived at 34w2d.

the average twin birth is at 35-36 weeks... meaning many come much earlier, many go to full term.

Most OBs want to deliver at 38 weeks at the latest. Some will go to 39w. It's considered too risky to go further- the risks outweigh benefits (placenta can detatch, etc)

Mine were delivered via c/s at 38w1d - scheduled.

Get Dr. Luke's book on being pg with twins, triplets and quads - it will explain everything you need to know about what should be expected in your twin pg, etc. Great book.

The dr decided to take me at 37.5 weeks, 4 days before my scheduled c section. Went into ptl at 30 weeks and stayed 3-4 cm for a long time as you can see.

My doctor scheduled my induction at exactly 38 weeks, but I was induced two days before due to high bp and low fluid around baby b. Babies were born at 37w, 6d.

C-section at 34 weeks, 6 days, after Baby B's water broke the day before and no labor progressed. (Although I was going to have a c-section either way since I'd previously had one.)

I was also scheduled to have my c-section at 38 weeks but my water broke at 37w4d (just 3 days before scheduled c-section) so they came then!

I was induced at 38 w 6 d. My OB had originally said 38 weeks, but everything was going well, so they would have let me go up to my due date. I got nervous because of the increased risks after 38 weeks.

I went into labor on my own at 36w5d. My OB would have let me go to full term and into labor on my own as long as everything kept going well.

36w3d by scheduled C-section. Dr. & MFM always told me 36 weeks and when I went in that morning to get prepped for surgery, I was in labor & didn't even know it. I was have contractions that were 2 min apart!!
