Infertility

Proud of myself

So I just want to say that I deserve a hearty pat on the back. I met with a new RE yesterday and he asked me for a pee sample, which I was totally not expecting. I know this is ridiculous but I have a shy bladder and providing pee samples are often next to impossible and a source of major stress for me. Well, I managed to provide the BEST pee sample of my entire life yesterday and I didn't even feel like I had to go! I'm taking this as a sign that my new RE and I were meant to be! :)

Me too!  I am always "that girl" at the office, filling and re-filling my 3oz cup at the water cooler, wasting half my day, waiting to pee.

  • I see Dr. Drews at either Morristown or West Orange. I'm assuming your doc is part of RMA? I've only been with RMA since July, but I'm very pleased thus far. I'm starting IUI as soon as my period comes! Good luck!

i just wanted to address this bc i saw that dr. bromer communicates with you ...i have seen two docs at RMANJ ...the first one got annoyed when i asked to speak with her directly and called me anxious and the second one doesn't get on the phone with me at all.  the nurse does ALL the communicating and sometimes you want to speak to a doc....i am yet to find a nurse that i feel i connect with and i don't consider myself an unreasonable person.

that being said people LOVE RMANJ and they are said to have one of the best labs out there so it's a real dilemma for me personally!   i do think they are cutting edge but i also think their patient communication, especially if you are an inquisitive person is not up to par for my standards.

I was at East Coast IF in Little Silver before I switched and I was never able to speak with my dr.  The nurses always seemed really annoyed by me even when I called for OHSS.  I need to have a dr that will call me and take time with me so I'm pretty satisfied with Reproductive Science Center.  I've actually lost count on the number of times that my dr actually called me.
