NBR: travel coffee mug recommendations

does anyone have a travel coffee mug that they absolutely love? my husbands birthday is coming up and since i'm outta good ideas this year i asked what he wanted. his reply: "a good travel cup for my coffee".

i'm looking for something that has good heat retention, leak/spill proof and easy to clean.

I have one from Starbucks and it is the bomb. My husband stole it ever since I've been a SAHM and he loves it because it stays hot the entire way on his hour long commute to work. Very well insulated.

Double-walled stainless steel will do the best with hot or cold. Starbucks usually has great ones.

I have a couple from clearance and Walmart that I love. They don't have the spillproof, but I still love them. .

ETA: you could get a one with pics of the kid. Anyplace that prints photos will do it.

The double-walled stainless steel ones from Starbucks are the BEST! We've bought so many different mugs trying to save a few bucks and they never work. The plastic ones from Starbucks aren't as good as the metal ones so I would spend the extra money and buy the good one. Also, beware of the lids that twist open to drink. They twist the same way to take the top off so it is difficult to open while driving. The flip lids are the best and easiest to open and close quickly to keep the heat it

P.s. I have one Starbucks mug that is SEVEN years old! Worth every penny!
