How many naps per day does your little one take? E has had one/ day since about 4 months old, but she is so emotional and grumpy these days I am thinking of trying to add one in the morning. What is your nap schedule like?

Re: Moms of 12-ish month olds....
Cambryn was still a 2 nap a dayer until she was almost 18months old. Even now she will take 2 once in a while if I let her. She would wake up around 7am and then take a nap from 10-11ish and another from 2-3:30ish
ETA- she went to bed for the night about 7
Well, DD is older than 12 months, but has had the same nap schedule since around that time. She wakes up around 7, naps 9-11, then again 2ish-4ish, and then goes to bed between 7 and 8. (I thought she'd be moving toward 1 nap SOON, but so far it hasn't happened. It's nice to have her sleep so much, but HARD to plan things with friends.)
How is your LO already 12 months!??!
Whitney went down to one nap around 11 months. Sleep has always been a struggle with her, so we're very careful about her schedule. Generally, she is up around 7, goes down for her nap around noon, sleeps for 1.5-2 hours, then up until bedtime around 8 pm.
We actually found that the timing of the nap was pretty critical. For a long time, I was putting her down too late in the afternoon, 1-2ish, and this made bedtime too late and lots of grumpiness. Maybe you could try changing the time of her one nap a little and see if that helps?
Max was at one nap by 12 months. I would say maybe try an earlier bedtime for her..often with young ones this doesn't lead to earlier waking like it does for adults. I would try bed at 7 for her and see if that helps. I hope you find something that works!
Sammy wakes about 5-6, takes his one nap about 10ish (about 45 minutes.) Goes to bed at 7:30-8. I don't know how the boy functions. Oh, unless his oma is rocking him, she can get 2 hours from him. This has been his rythym since the beginning. Even immediately after being born, he didn't go to sleep for almost five hours...oy!
Cooper's morning nap has almost always been in the car on the go.
In our house that means we're about a half an hour too late.
This!
She definitely naps better at the sitter's than she does at home - there she takes two naps, usually 45 minutes to 1.5 hours long each. For me, I'm lucky if I can get her to take one nap a day while snoozing on me. Now that I'm working more hours, I guess she misses and wants to spend as much time with me as possible!
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mommas I have gotten to know!
Addie Grace at 8 months - you will see plenty of her in our 365 Blog!
