Well maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration but I am so proud of myself. My now 3 year old twins were still addicted to pacifiers. They never left the house and were only for bedtime but it was still ridiculous. I guess I let it go so long because they slept so well and I didn't want to give that up.

We had a garage sale this weekend and I told the boys if they sold them they could take the money and buy a new toy. It actually worked! I had a very nice woman that came pretend she wanted to buy them and slipped her $2 to give to them. She was great and told them she had a baby at her house that needed them.

Well they bought and we we are now pacifier free! FINALLY!!! Now if only potty training would work as well.

I love it! My friend tried the paci fairy and told her little girl that she had to give up the paci's so my twins could have them. Whatever works!

Hahaha...I love this! My grandmother tried everything to get my aunt to stop sucking her thumb (even hot sauce! - of course this was about 50 years ago). Finally she told my aunt that she would get some dollhouse or playhouse that she wanted if she would stop sucking her thumb. Well it worked! She never sucked her thumb again. Ah, the power of bribery!
