Reflux, Allergy, or Neither?

My LO has been having a tough couple of days. She has been feeding more often, but less at each feeding. She will sometimes only take one breast, too. This is different from what she was doing up to two days ago. She is also spitting up more (not just milk, actual spit up) and has been getting pretty fussy after she eats. If I put her on my chest she will calm down and eventually fall asleep, but if I put her on her back at all she fusses and cries. Does this sound like reflux? an allergy? something else?

    Could be either, really.  DD has been on Zantac for reflux since she was about 2 weeks old.  What we noticed was that she would arch her back during feedings and whimper, and sleeping on her back was out of the question.  Anytime she was on her back she'd scream and the milk would just come rolling out of her mouth.


    Never hurts to call the pedi!  Good luck.
