Crib bedding, WDYT?

Holy deals! This weekend has been amazing! My dad bought the BRU crib that was on sale yesterday (along with everyone else on TheBump lol) so now I'm looking at bedding.

This set is only $55! There's only a few left and it's REVERSIBLE and a 10 piece set.

It's not my first choice, I definitely wanted something less pink and more classy. But this is an amazing price. Would you go ahead and get it or spend the extra money on something that you REALLY are in love with?

Edit : I also found this . Apparently a lot is on sale today. I read the reviews and the quality of the skirt and valance/pillows kind of suck, but that's fine because the skirt isn't visible with our crib anyway. I like this one a lot better but I'm still not in love. However, $55 is an amazing price. Decisions decisions.

  • I'd probably wait for something I absolutely love. I don't think there's anything wrong with that set at all but it's not my style. I wouldn't jump on something just for the price unless you're totally sure or at least can settle with it.

  • That's a whole lotta pink!  If you aren't in love with it, don't buy it just 'cuz of the price. But if you do like it, maybe tone it down with a set of green sheets instead of pink?  and spread out the accessories throughout the room with some other things to mellow it.
  • for something like bedding that is such a dominant feature of the room, and something you will see multiples times a day, wait for something you love.  I wouldn't settle for something just because the price is great.

  • I'd wait until you find something you absolutely love. Sales come around all the time, and chances are you'll find something you love, on sale, before December.

  • I wouldn't settle for something you will be looking at daily like that!   You might end up buying it and not liking it and regreting it then going out and buying the set you really like...then just wasting that 55$
  • I would wait for something I love.  I wouldn't want to get the nursery set up and be dissapointed.

  • That second one is cute. You will have it for a while, so make sure you love it. If you are up for registering for larger items, register for bedding you love, and see if you get it, if not, you have time to find something else.

  • I think I would get the bedding I love that is reasonable. I cant do the whole $250 for bedding like some sites have but I am planning to buy the one I love for $109 from Target. I say get what you really want as long as it doesn't break your wallet.
