Canton Area Moms

We moved here a year ago and with the kids being so young I've had trouble meeting other mothers/friends in the area. Can anyone recommend activities or groups we can join to help socialize my poor, bored kids? Anyone have suggestions on fun activities in the area? Anyone want to have a play date? My kids and I are really cool, I swear!

    I'm in Canton, but not a mom quite yet.  The only thing I can think of is the library.  I think there's a lot of activities there for kids.  I don't know that you'll be able to really meet people, and it does cost money, but there's a jungle java which should be a lot of fun if your kids are restless from being stuck inside in this hot weather.

    I've seen other people on this board recommend a site, I think its called meetup.org or something like that.  I guess it may have playgroups or moms groups for a bunch of different areas.

    Have you been to Java Jungle on Canton Center?  Or the parks/splash park at the summit?

    We took a swim class at the summit but I forgot they had that splash park there. She'd love that. We go to Jungle Java in the winter since we can't go outside as much but she always seems to get sick after, lol. Thanks for the water park suggestion.

    The library does have a lot of programs to go to. Some you have to register for, others you don't.  If you go to their website you can see the calendar.

    We're new to Canton (since May) and I have two kids- 3 1/2 and 14 months.  If you're ever interested in meeting up for a play date, feel free to contact me! We're always looking for things to do- and we don't know many people here.  We go to the playground a lot too.
