So, I have heard the name Araceli (which I love, love, love now and am trying to persuade DH on). I know a girl named Araceli but she pronounces it Air-ah-cel-ee and goes by Celi (like a cell phone). [Poll]

I must not be in the norm here because I think its bizarre. I look at it as someone trying to be unique in a spelling of "Erica" and putting a strange little twist on the end.

I always get confused when pronunciations are spelled out so I didn't answer.
