Ever delivered at Providence in Everett??

Hi! So we just had our first appointment with our OB yesterday, and apparently they only deliver at Providence in Everett. My husband and many of his family members were delivered at Swedish, so they're not sure about going elsewhere. I really like the OB staff so far, and don't really want to switch unless I have a good reason. Since I am entirely new to this area, I know nothing about which hospitals have a great track record for birthing centers etc. Has anyone delivered at Providence in Everett? How was your experience? Just wanting to look into it & do my research!!

I have delivered at Evergreen and at Providence (and at the University of Michigan) and if I was able to pick - I would pick Providence all over again. Only, I would go with a midwife there instead of an OB. Prov also has the north end care center for Childrens Hospital.

I had my daughter there & will have #2 there as well. Their birthing suites are nice, and the nurse staff is amazing! The OB's I met there (my OB wasn't on-call) were also really awesome! I was impressed & happy with my experience there.

I deliverd at Prov in April and it was such a great experience! I wasn in labor for 40 hours from start to finish (I was indused) and the staff was so great at taking care of me, my family and DD once she was born. I will definitely be delivering my future children here.

both my kids were born there. The suites are super nice! We had a great experience both times.

It's a new facility now, but I was born there too, as well as my dad. So 3 generations born at the same hospital.

I've had two kids there, first with an OB, the second with the midwives group, and had great experiences both times. I LOVE the midwives and all the nurses I had there were excellent. I feel like we got really good care, DD spent a couple days in the NICU and they were great about involving us in the treatment, including us when they discussed her in rounds, etc. We're done having kids but if we were going to have a third I'd go there again in a heartbeat.

Just one more positive experience. I just had my son there in May and will definitely go back for #2. I had a planned c/s that turned into an emergency, at the very last minute. I received great care and felt very confident. Also, there's MFM and a Level 3 NICU on-site, if you were to need it.

I had such a great experience that I asked my husband if we could just commute back and forth (we live in Oregon now). He wasn't so sold on the idea. I absolutely LOVED delivering at Providence, the staff was wonderful and the suites were great. I had a c/s and they took great care of me, my husband and my daughter.
