Hudson's on the Bend with 20 mo?

My husband and I have the Groupon for Hudson's on the Bend that expires Sept 3.  We don't have a babysitter, and instead depend on my ILs for keeping DD while we go on dates.  However, the ILs aren't coming back into town prior to Sept 3, so we thought about just bringing DD with us and doing a very early (6pm) dinner out there on say a Friday night.

I've never been - so do you think it would not be appropriate to bring a toddler?  I'd hate to feel out of place, but it's the only way we'll be able to use the Groupon!!

  • no.way.

people go there for special occasions and to spend a lot of money. i would feel badly having my child there as a potential distraction.

  • Thank you!  Glad I asked!
  • With a 20 month old? No way. It is waaay too nice for a toddler, I'm afraid. there's no way you'd be able to really enjoy your delicious (and expensive) meal with a kid in tow.

  • NO.  DH and I splurged on a really nice dinner out a few weeks ago for his birthday.  There was a baby crying through most of our dinner and it was super annoying. I don't think children that little belong in upscale restaurants.  If you can't get a sitter, maybe you could sell the Groupon to somebody here?
