I don't usually post over here, typically I'm on the Cloth Diaper board, but I need some help from you lovely ladies ![]()
DS has been escaping his Miracle Blanket swaddle. He had been sleeping from about 7:30pm-7:30am. Now that he has figured out how to escape, he wakes us up screaming anywhere between 4:30 and 7:00am. I don't mind waking up early but I'm not sure how to transition him from being swaddled, to not swaddling.
I think he wakes up freaked out that his arms are loose, but he can't do much else. He's 4.5 months but was a preemie so he's not rolling yet or pushing up when on his belly (in fact, he hates being on his belly). So when his arms are loose, it's not like he knows what to do with them yet.
Any advice? Do I just leave it be and let him keep popping his arms out, or should I stop swaddling?
