Based on what I read on the FB page (I wasn't around for the fun), it looks like MMTT had an auction for a semi-custom diaper. Someone with the same name as is listed on her Flickr account bid the price up. People started asking questions on her FB page. Questions disappeared - this was blamed on "a FB glitch" (and it was a "weird coincidence" that her Flickr name was bidding on her auction). Questions escalated, screencaps were taken (there are some linked on the FB page), and ultimately her HC store and FB page both were taken down.
Someone who was actually there - please feel free to correct anything I misstated and/or add more detail! (Especially the add more detail part.)
Oh wow! Wasn't there some other recent drama with MMTT? Was it not fulfilling custom orders so she could go to the police academy or something?

There was something with the email addresses matching. She'd entered a blog contest and gave the email address that was associated with the name that was bidding up the diaper. (That part wasn't screen-capped.)
I'd like one of the ladies that outed her to come here and fill us in.

Every time that comes up I feel like we should have team colors, or a gang sign, or something.
Damn...I know hew business practices have been questioned before but bidding up your own auction...wow! That's a whole 'nother level. I like the dipe I have from her (Kenny the Giraffe/Giraffe Menagerie) but if she opens her store back up I won't be there.

Wow. I don't like the fact that her FB page is down considering she has a fabric I've been holding onto for awhile to have a custom made for my DH. Now I can't check on it? Kinda makes me on edge :-/
She initially tried to claim that tgone80 wasn't her. Then when confronted with a link to a blogpost in which she comments on it to enter a contest and says that her email address is tgone80@gmail.com (not to mention, her photobucket account from where she links all her pictures uses the handle tgone80) she panicked, deleted every single comment on the mamatutu facebook page, then goes and deactivates the mamatutu facebook page and her personal facebook account. She also goes and deactivates her hyenacart (although not before actually deleting all the auctions in question). She reactivates her personal facebook page an hour or so later and has removed anyone who is mutual friends with the original accusers.

Those of us that did a couple co-ops with her are in a cloth diapering group on facebook. One of the people in the group posted a link to the auctions and said "umm isn't tgone80 her own account? I could have sworn she emailed me from tgone80 at some point". So I googled tgone80 and found all the evidence that the username was one she commonly used, and in fact all of the search results are somehow linked to her so it doesn't appear that anyone else uses (its uncommon, unlike the mamatutu username which multiple other people have used). Then we all noticed that tgone80 had bid up every single auction currently running.
Not only is auction shilling illegal, but it is also strictly against hyenacart's terms of service. One could also consider it to be immoral and fraudulent. Not only that but its not like she was bidding these auctions up so they'd sell for at least what her other diapers normally sell at. She continued to bid them up to amounts that would be considered price gouging (in fact, she herself has repeatedly bashed goodmama for selling diapers at less than the amount the auctions were at).

Yes, this happens to be considered suuuper crappy business practice in my book. Thanks for posting the details, it's nice to know there's some good people to expose bad situations to fellow CDers. Now we'll have to figure out all her aliases to avoid her!
She managed to recover from the coop scandal. If she has enough of a core group willing to buy her diapers (or back her up) then she could come back from anything. All she needs to do is wait a while since the cd community moves so fast.

Pixy, I kinda disagree. I don't think she truly did recover from the coop scandal. Things have started to sit in her store for awhile. Custom slots didn't, but a lot of other things did. I know it was never as hard to score a MMTT as it is a DD, TT, etc, but her things used to go much faster.

True, but there was an uptick on the board recently, asking about her diapers so I think she was starting to recover.
The co-op was pretty harmless though-I think she weasled her way out of it by claiming she didn't know, etc. she never said, etc. right? I don't know because I wasn't in it. This, however; is blatant unethical business practices and it seems like it is probably even bigger for the other tribe. Honestly? I was all anti-MMTT until I saw some of the co-op ladies from here buying from her so I figured I could go buy (just my own moral dilema, now because of what others would think). I definitely wouldn't buy after this and I would be disappointed to see others buy.
Our co-op was ready to drop the co-op, even after she had been paid, because she outright lied to us. But then we tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. A few of us believed that maybe deep down she was a good person, but she had gotten in over her head and didn't know how to tell people no because she wanted to make everyone happy. We even agreed to let her complete the co-op from here first (even though ours was scheduled long before yours and was supposed to have been done in May, and at this point we were already in June). Once again it took her longer than what she originally quoted. She did offer to drop ship diapers as they were made since she was taking so long and we took her up on that. Then I finally received my diapers and the quality was subpar. My daughter is pretty small for a 13 month old, but these diapers are absolutely ginormous. I was really disappointed in the pattern change (or lack of pattern used because even between both of my diapers the size difference is quite noticeable). But I wasn't going to publicly call her out on it. I just decided that I personally wouldn't be purchasing from her anymore due to the inconsistencies in her quality and her inability to stay organized. But bidding up her own auctions? That's just low. I can't stay quiet about someone who resorts to such sleezy business practices. It also makes me feel like we shouldn't have given her the benefit of the doubt in the past because I'm not so sure she's an innocent and harmless and we wanted to believe.
Also, I agree with Hairpasta. Anyone who thinks they should be able to get away with illegal/unethical things like this should NOT be given that kind of authority.

She's (MMTT) not shady or anything, geeze....
No, she didn't delete them. It's a facebook glitch.

lol
So is she going to close shop or just pretend this never happened?

Everytime MMTT drama comes up, this is EXACTLY what runs through my head.

Maysa: did you guys report any/all of this to HC?
