So today DH and I have been married 12 years.Of course, the kids won't nap today, I have a headache and it's raining out! Hopefully the day will get better. It doesn't really matter because we're not doing anything special today. We might try to go to our fav restaurant on Saturday if we can find someone to watch the kids. Pointless post I guess. Just happy that we've made it so far. DH is my best friend, we still love each other and we have 5 beautiful kids together. What else can you ask for?

Here is a picture of us the day we got married. We were 18 years old, just out of high school and SO in love. We got married at the courthouse in our town. Our close family came to watch. Even now I don't care that I never got a fancy wedding. All we cared about was spending the rest of our lives together.

Happy anniversary!!! Definitely get someone to watch the kids so you can go out. It's so important especially when you've been married as long as us (13.5 years). Enjoy your special day!

I wanted to put a current picture of me and DH - but the last one I have is from almost a year ago when I was rather pregnant. It's ridiculous how few pictures we have together.
