Update - They *may* have seen a spleen today

As some of you may know, our little boy has a genetic issue....and at my MRI they said they couldn't see a spleen. Today @ MFM -- they pointed to something that *may* be a spleen (behind his liver...b/c his liver is in the wrong spot). This would be amazing! Only bummer is my DH overheard them talking about having me do another MRI. The last MRI was brutal, but whatever it takes.

And we talked w/ the social worker today. B/c of our situation, we qualify to stay at the Ronald McDonald house (if there is room available) while Ben is in the Nicu. MFM said he will be in the Nicu regardless -- they will be too nervous to not keep him and run every test. Definitely not how I pictured the first weeks of their lives, but flexibility is the name of the game right now.

Both babies are 2 lbs and measuring right on track. Any "healthy spleen vibes" you have, I'll take them!!! :) 

TTC since 8/09
DX: PCO, ENDO, High NK, MTHFR
8/10 = Lap to remove Endo

2 Femara TI, 3 Follistim IUI = BFN & 1 c/p
IVF #1 - BFP - boy/girl Twins!

    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    Oh, I am so hoping and praying that it is his spleen!  This is such great news as is the possibility of having the Ronald McDonald House available to you.

    Me: 33, Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, DOR (AMH .35), DH: 38, Borderline low morph
    5/09- Off BCP, 5/09-9/09- No period, 9/09-9/10- Lots of Tests & accupuncture
    10/10 and 11/10- 2 rounds of Menopur + TI= BFNS
    12/10-IUI #1 Menopur = BFN
    1/11- IUI #2 Menopur = BFP, 2/11 missed mc at 9 weeks, D&C
    5/11- Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum
    6/11- IUI #3 Menopur = BFP, 8/11 missed mc at 11 weeks, D&C
    1/12- Lap and Operative Hysteroscopy to remove uterine septum (again) & scar tissue
    2/12- Stint Removal, 3/12 repeat SHG and HSG- showed scar tissue blocking right tube
    4/12- Operative hysteroscopy (again), RE said he can now see right tube (yay!)
    5/12- Stint removal, 6/12 repeat SHG and HSG-both tubes are open!
    8/12- IUI #4 Bravelle = BFN
    9/12-IUI #5 Bravelle = BFN
    1/13- IVF #1, micro-flare protocol, 7R, 6F, 5dt of 2 AA embryos, 1 to freeze = BFP
    Beta #1: 176, Beta #2: 422, EDD 10/8/13- it's TWINS!

    12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN

    Everything is crossed that the spleen sighting was for real! And RMD houses are such amazing places....while you never want to have to stay there, it makes a world of difference. I will be hoping they have room for you when the babies arrive!
