It's called diastasis. If it's been 6 months since you've had your baby and nothing has changed, most likely the only thing that will get the muscles back together is surgery. Unfortunately what stretches apart with diastasis is the fascia That connects the right and left sides of the rectus abdominal muscles and no amount of exercise will bring them back together... :-(

This. Just feel lucky that you *only* have diastasis recti and not that AND a hernia. I'm looking at 2 surgeries after my c-section... ho hum... it's gonna be awhile until I'm back in the gym...
For the most part, the surgery to repair DR is considered elective, but check with your insurance company.
You can try abdominal exercises and physical therapy before considering surgery. Look for a good physical therapist in your area who specializes in pregnancy/postpartum women. Check out my interview with a fantastic physical therapist in the Albany, NY area on my blog: https://pcjz.blogspot.com
