Can you wear your wedding ring?

Sadly the day has come. I can no longer wear my wedding rings (mine are soldered together). I even have a diamond dinner ring for my right hand that is a little bigger than my wedding ring, but that won't fit either. I am so sad because I was able to wear my ring to the hospital with Justin Crying I feel naked and single...lol.

I don't wear mine 24/7 though. Only when I leave the house.

Can you wear yours still? Do you ever take it off?

Yep!!

I do have to take it off when I sleep because I get really warm and my hands tend to swell. I put it back on after I'm done with my makeup in the morning and it stays on all day until I go to bed. I will be very sad if/when I can't wear my rings anymore.

I haven't worn mine since around 8 weeks...I had a random allergic reaction to them and broke out in a rash around my finger. I cleaned them at home and had them cleaned at a jeweller...but every time I'd put them back on, the rash came back. Sad

I miss my rings!

took it off last week. i was at my mom's house and realized they were tight. put them on my pinky and an hour later I could indents on my pinky from all the swelling that day. Haven't put them back on since then. I never had this issue the first time either. i'm blaming the season difference.

Nope. I stopped wearing mine sometime last month. My hands were starting to swell and I didn't want to risk not being able to get it off. Probably a good thing considering that when I tried to put it on over the weekend I couldn't. I've been wearing a 'replacement' ring in in's place. Oh how I miss my wedding ring!

I took mine off weeks ago. I can put it on in the morning, but with the heat and swelling by evening it was very tight. I would like to wear it, but it doesn't bother me that much not too.

I wear 3 rings on that finger. I had to stop the wedding set at around 20 weeks, but I was still able to wear my anniversary band. That ended by 25 weeks. I just recently bought a fake sparkly band in a humongous size that I wear now. I don't love it but I don't hate it.

After struggling to get them off one day last week, I've just stopped wearing them. I have another ring that DH gave me (silver band with a celtic style knot design) that I've been wearing on my left hand instead.

ive had to take mine off within the last week...I can get them on in the morning and wear them all day, but unfortunately by the time the night comes, my fingers are so swollen I am literally cutting off the circulation to my finger if I try to get it off lol....sooo for the past two days...I haven't worn them at all! Crying

I'm so freaking excited... Last pregnancy they wouldn't fit at just 16 weeks.. It sucked. I had a lot of swelling in my hands and feet last time... None at all this time..yet *knocks wood*

I "can" still wear it, but I don't find it comfortable, so I haven't been wearing it for about a month.

I have a cheap wedding set from Target that I use for traveling and it is a half size larger. I wear the wedding band from this set when I'm out and about, I just feel odd being pregnant and not wearing a ring.

My wedding ring still fits (it better, I've only had it for 3 weeks), but I had other rings before that I had to take off about 2 months ago. I would really like to be able to wear them again. My DH bought me one of them, and I wore it everyday until it stopped fitting. The other 2 are also very sentimental.

ETA: I'm a little worried that my wedding ring won't fit after Smudge comes

My ring was too tight pre-pregnancy (I gained weight over holidays/ttc). After about 10 weeks into the pregnancy I gave up and have been wearing my grandmother's wedding and engagement ring that I have always worn on the middle finger of my right hand. It's nothing fancy, but I feel like I HAVE to have a ring on that finger 24/7 or feel naked.

Yep, which I find odd since I think my rings got too tight around 28 wks (and I was pregnant over the summer time last time too). But they still slide on and off easily, the day that becomes even slightly difficult I'll put them on the chain on my neck.

This weekend we were out furniture shopping for Justins room and I got emotional about it and he took his off and threw it in the console of his truck and said we can be single together. I thought about that and said NOPE...yours stays on!! Stick out tongue

I haven't worn it since June. It makes me sad. I even got a cheap silver band that is a size bigger than my wedding ring and that too is a bit snug. That makes me even sadder. I can't wait for the days to get cooler so at least my fat ring fits better.

Luckily, my wedding band is a little bigger and fits me just fine...for now!

My fingers puffed up like sausages. I'm wearing my wedding rings on my pinkie finger now and DH bought me a simple cheapy ring to wear on my ring finger because I felt so naked with nothing on.

Not since about 30 weeks. And I never ever took it off, and it was pretty loose. I just can't get it over the knuckle - it would fit fine otherwise. But I took it off when I noticed my knuckles getting bigger, because I didn't want to get to the point of not being able to take it off and having it cut off in an emergency.

Not since about 20 weeks. I went and got a band and DH hated it and went to a chinese jewelry store and got me a funny, fake huge one. It no longer fits either though. My fingers look like little sausages.

I haven't been able to wear the engagement ring since early last month. Last week I retired the wedding ring to the jewelry box after struggling to get it off my swollen finger.

I wore my rings right up until delivery with DS1 but that was mid-February. I am blaming the heat for this time around!

I was so sad to remove them on Saturday. I have a gold and white gold ring with a diamond chip I typically wear on my right hand so I moved that over. I have been taking my rings off every night for months now just in case (and to keep them from being super gunky with my excessive moisturizing). I think I am going to swing in and get a temporary cheapo wedding band from target or tjmax.

Some days yes and some days no. I usually put them on if I'm going out somewhere, but take them off and stick them in my purse if my fingers start getting tight. I don't wear mine 24/7 either (even before pg) - just when I'm getting dressed to go out.

Wow, I haven't been able to wear mine since May probably! As soon as it started getting warmer out my fingers started swelling every now and then so I got worried and retired my wedding rings until after baby! I do wear a sapphire ring from DH in place of my wedding rings. The sapphire ring has 3 stones, one for me, DH, and baby since we'll all have September bdays!

I can still wear mine, although when we take walks with the Dog, my hands tend to swell. I only take my rings off when I go to sleep, because I'm afraid one of the points will cut me.

I can still wear mine. They were dangerously loose before I got pregnant and was planning on getting them sized down after Christmas, glad I didn't. The only time I take them off is to take showers. The other day I was outside for about 6 hours, and they were a little snug by the time I went inside.

I really want to keep them on until the end. We weren't married when DS was born and I want to have them the whole time. I've been through getting "those" looks before and I don't like it!

i've had to take mine off at the beginning of the 2nd trimester...they could fit but the inside part of my finger started getting itchy and peeling - i took my engagement ring off and just tried the band but it didn't help. i went and bought a fakey ring because i felt naked without something on my finger
