Abnormal Pap?

Hello ladies!

Okay, so here goes. I've been having abnormal pap smears for the past 5 years (not every time) and constantly have to go back for a Colpo. At first it really bothered me thinking that I might have cervical cancer. But my Colpo results always come back normal. So now I'm just annoyed! Really, Doc? Don't you think that after so many abnormal paps that, hmmm, perhaps there might be something wrong? Thanks to the military medical system, I haven't seen the same doctor once in 4 years!

And on top of it all, I can't go get the damn Colpo until I'm almost 20 weeks ... which s another 10 weeks away. I am SO FRUSTRATED! Angry

Has anyone else gone through this or can help shed some light?

    I have never had experience with an abnormal pap, but have you thought about switching to Tricare standard? I was on Prime, but refuse to be treated like a number. I switched to standard when becoming pregnant with DS and now I have a small deductable (either 300 or 500) but I see the same doctor every time for the last three years (civilian). He is wonderful and worth every penny to get the kind treatment you deserve while pregnant. Good luck and if your Colpo comes back normal, I might ask if there are any other tests they can do! H&H!!
