I head back to work in about 3 weeks, I've been working on building a stash for several weeks. At home though we rarely give LO a bottle so I do I determine how much I will need to take to daycare each day? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Most people start with 3-4 ounces and see how their kids do. They take about 25-30 oz total in a day so about 1/2 of that should go in bottles to daycare.

There's a formula that's good up to about 30 ounces:
Baby's weight * 2.5 = Approximate number of oz per day Take # oz per day divided by the number of nursing sessions per day. This should give you a starting place.
Another "rule of thumb" is an ounce for every hour you're apart.
At 12 weeks - I sent in 4 ounce bottles to eat every 3 hours. We upped it to 4.5, which she's still good with.
Also - don't worry so much about the stash - Just send in what you pump the day before (and send Friday's milk on Monday).
Re: how much...how do I know?
I use this online calculator. I always give more than needed. If DS is full, he will stop.
